![]() | Faith Faith is a hope, trust, and a belief in the goodness and reliability of a person, and idea, or an entity. Eventhough, faith is the basis for religious beliefs; it is not excercised only by religious people. Faith has been used from the beginning of time by everyone who has ever lived. If you are alive; you believe in something. Hebrews 11:1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith be defined as the outward manifestation of that which is inwardly hoped for or desired. |
The Dynamics of Now
The word, now, in the above verse can be used as an adjective, an adverb, or a conjunction. But, it is most widely used as an adverb. Ultimately, when we look at the various ways it is used as an adverb, we must understand that the word covers past, present, and future events.
Generally, when I quote Hebrews 11 and 1 it’s in a very passive manner. But, after examining the word “NOW”, when I quote the verse, it has a much bolder and direct meaning.
Seeing how it covers past, present, and future events; it helps me to look deeper into that in which I believe.
I believe that every life experience is designed to help each of us reach our intended purpose. It is up to us to take advantage of every opportunity we have to seize the moment and dare to dream, to believe, and to have faith in something so much bigger than ourselves.
Now Faith says, "The Things which We Desire and Hope for Exist Right Now!" When we understand and embrace this, the "Law of Attraction" will bring it to us.
What do we believe? Dare we dream? Dare we have faith? Dare we seize this moment? If there were ever a time; Our time is NOW!
